ABSTRACT

Audiologists and the current status of audiology programs have been reviewed in Australia, Canada, Central America, and South America. Some models in these regions were influenced by neighboring advanced countries and the outcomes of their programs were informative and inspiring. Howerever, several programs in Latin America were severely limited due to economic situations. Relevant comparisons were made in connection with those of Korea.
