ABSTRACT

According to time and culture, understanding ‘disability’ has been expanded from individual wellbeing to social awareness. Together with these points, Ministry of Health and Welfare in Korea has investigated the actual conditions and welfare desire of the disabled under the Disability Welfare Law and provided basic data for the welfare policy making and operating. This study carried out an analysis on the data and documents focused on the hearing impaired.
