ABSTRACT
The primary advantage of group therapy was to lessen the psychological burden of clients when they were back to normal daily situations after finishing appropriate rehabilitation programs. In this paper, the pros and cons of the group therapy for clients with language deficits were reviewed in terms of types of group and effectiveness of the therapy. The purpose of this analysis was to suggest general guidelines for related professionals performing group therapy for the clients with impaired speech/hearing abilities.
