| ABSTRACT |
|
The one of the important aims of auditory rehabilitation with hearing aids was to improve auditory detection and discrimination in daily
lives of hearing aid wearers. Audiologists were required to perform professional practices for adequate hearing evaluation and hearing
aid fitting through individual consultations and auditory rehabilitation plans. In this paper, two clinical cases with hearing aids were
analyzed using Korean word recognition scores with special reference to hearing aid selection, verification of auditory improvement,
hearing aid fitting, and long-term/short-term plans for auditory rehabilitation. |
